Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter is a well-known American actor also known as a producer, director and actress. Her name has been acknowledged for her roles in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with several awards for her work which includes an Oscar. Actresses have a long career of involvement in Broadway, Off-Broadway and other initiatives. It has always been her passion. In fifth grade, she was cast as Helen Keller in an original show. Mumps made her lose her hearing in one of her ears, but this didn't stop the actress from following her dreams. In her teens, Hunter studied drama and eventually moved in New York City. Through a random encounter, she became stuck in an elevator with writer Beth Henley and the two worked together on the play 'The Broadway Crimes of the Heart and was Hunter's first performance. As she relocated into Los Angeles, Hunter tried to find films to play. The role of a supporting actress was found for Swing Shift. In the years since, she has been in numerous films and television series and movies throughout a span of more than three decades. Holly Hunter won a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and also her Women in Film Lucy Award.
